Most coaches go into high-stakes sessions with instinct alone. Decision Atlas changes that.

What Decision Atlas is

Evidence from real humans
who faced the same choice.

Before every session you get a structured intelligence report: what happened to comparable people in comparable situations — their choices, outcomes, regret levels, and the mechanism behind each result.

01
Built on human behaviour, not theory
Every signal in the vault is a real recorded decision — context, action, outcome, regret score, and transferable mechanism. No AI-generated content. No synthetic cases. Approved sources only.
02
Matched to your client's situation
The engine matches on decision type, country, age band, and pattern subtype. You get the cohort most comparable to your client — not a generic template. A minimum of 5 matched signals is required before any report generates. 30+ signals for stronger confidence bands. 100+ signals for stable path distributions.
03
Practitioner-led. Always.
The report supports your judgement — it never replaces it. You interpret, you apply, you decide. Decision Atlas is the evidence layer beneath your expertise, not above it.

The Regret Map™

Three paths.
Real outcomes.
One decision.

For every situation the vault surfaces three observed outcome paths — with regret scores, probability distributions, and the mechanism behind each result. Observed patterns, not predictions.

The Regret Map is the core visual output of every Decision Atlas report. It shows practitioners — at a glance — where comparable clients ended up, and at what regret cost.

Outcome directionPositive
Early mover advantage — conditions secured before pressure peaks. Lowest regret cohort. Small percentage of matched cases but strongest outcome profile.
Observed patterns across matched cases — not predictions or prescriptions. Path distributions require 100+ matched cases for statistical stability; n=30 is directional. Percentages reflect signal distribution in this cohort only, not population probability. Causality not assumed. Practitioner interpretation applies at all times.
How it works

From client context
to session-ready evidence.

01
You describe the situation
No client surname. No email. No address or phone. You submit the decision situation — first name or pseudonym, country, age band, decision type, and context. Designed for data minimisation. Practitioners should avoid entering identifiable details.

The vault matches comparable cases
The engine searches 4,000+ quality-assessed signals for the closest cohort — matched on decision subtype, country, and pattern. A minimum of 5 matched cases is required before any report generates. Below that threshold: no report, no guessing.

What you receive.
What it means.

Every number in a Decision Atlas report has a precise meaning. Here is what the key elements tell you and how to use them in session.

Decision Risk Score (DRS)
A 0–100 composite score weighted across regret (35%), financial cost (25%), wellbeing (20%), and trajectory (20%). Higher = greater observed risk in comparable cases. Pattern signal — not a prediction of individual outcome.
Confidence Band
Reflects signal quality and cohort size. HIGH = 20+ matched cases from quality-assessed sources. LOW = fewer signals, treat directionally. Always displayed clearly on the report.
Pattern Detection
One of 8 core decision primitives: BURNOUT+DELAY, FEAR BLOCK, IDENTITY, CAREER STAGNATION, and others. The pattern determines which coaching questions, reframes, and contraindications are surfaced.
Core Reframe
The practitioner-facing reframe observed in low-regret cases. Not a script. A lens. Use it to shift the conversation when the client is stuck in a framing the evidence says is costly.

The evidence

Human behaviour.
Recorded.
Quality-assessed.

Every signal in the vault is a real decision with documented context, action, outcome, regret level, and transferable mechanism. No AI-generated content. No synthetic cases. Zero.

Designed for data minimisation. You submit a decision situation — first name or pseudonym, country, age band, and context. No full name, email, phone number, address, or direct client identifier is required or stored. Practitioners should avoid entering identifiable client details. Reports are permanently deleted after 30 days.
📋
Approved sources only
CC-BY academic papers, public court records, parliamentary written evidence, practitioner submissions with consent. Every signal is provenance-documented.
⚖️
Quality gate on every signal
Signals pass a structured quality framework before entering the vault. Low-quality or non-transferable material is excluded. Confidence ratings reflect source quality.
🔒
Hard gate — no thin reports
Fewer than 5 matched signals returns no report. The system refuses to generate output on insufficient data. Accuracy over completeness.
🔄
Self-improving over time
3-month practitioner follow-ups feed real outcomes back into the vault. The system recalibrates on every closed case. Reports improve as the vault grows.

For coaches worldwide

Built for coaches who want
more than instinct alone.

Decision Atlas is for coaches handling career, business, relationship, relocation, and life-transition decisions. If your clients face high-stakes choices, the vault has evidence. Currently serving UK and US practitioners — global expansion planned.

Use case · Career coaching
Client delaying a career exit for 8 months under burnout
Coach submits situation. Vault returns 30 matched cases in burnout_from_overwork · GB. DRS: 90. Pattern: BURNOUT + DELAY LOOP. Coach card surfaces the reframe, the intervention sequence, and the contraindications before the session opens.
Coach enters session with structured evidence. Client receives page 2 summary. One pressure source removed within 72 hours.
Use case · Business coaching
Client stalling on business launch for "the right moment"
Vault returns business_launch_delay cohort. Pattern: DELAY LOOP. Regret trajectory shows 65% of comparable cases entered the market too late. Coach has the evidence to challenge the readiness narrative without using opinion alone.
Evidence-based challenge replaces instinct-based encouragement. Client sets a launch checkpoint within the session.
Use case · Life transition coaching
Client avoiding a relationship decision for 18 months
Vault returns relationship_exit_delay cohort. Pattern: FEAR BLOCK. Coach card flags the clinical boundary triggers. Regret map shows both action and inaction carry risk — prevents coach from pushing in either direction without evidence.
Coach uses vault balance to hold both paths open. Client makes a dated commitment rather than another deferral.

Methodology

Eight signal layers.
One structured output.

01
Decision Context
The situation, stakes, constraints, and timing surrounding the decision. The matching foundation.
02
Action Taken
The specific action chosen — or deliberately avoided. Both paths are captured and scored.
03
Recorded Outcome
The documented result within a defined time horizon. Direction: positive, mixed, or negative.
04
Regret Score
A 0–10 assessment at the outcome stage. The DRS's strongest predictor at 35% weight.
05
Time Horizon
The interval between decision and assessed outcome. Regret compounds non-linearly over time.
06
Source Provenance
The origin of the signal. Approved sources documented by trust tier. No unverified forums or social media.
07
Transferability Score
How applicable this signal is to comparable situations. Non-transferable signals are excluded at intake.
08
Mechanism
The behavioural or contextual driver that most influenced the outcome. The transferable insight used in session.
